We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected by a password, and we urge you to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out after each use. We further protect your information through an enterprise identity management system using JWT tokens (HS384) with automatic session expiration, role-based access control with organization-level permissions, and multi-factor authentication via time-limited email OTP codes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS, passwords are hashed with industry-standard, salted algorithms (never stored in plain text), sensitive credentials are kept in a secure secrets management system; and our services employ database schema isolation.
Our application security includes input validation on all requests to prevent injection attacks, rate limiting on authentication attempts, API-level authentication filters and CORS policies, and a microservices architecture with isolated security and accounting modules. Email verification is required before account activation, and we use time-limited, single-use tokens for password resets and invitations. We maintain comprehensive audit logs of authentication events—including IP, device, and location—and automatically invalidate expired or compromised tokens.
To safeguard data integrity and limit exposure, we enforce organization-level data isolation (users can access only their authorized organization data), permission-based feature access tied to subscription plans, foreign key constraints and referential integrity in our databases, and versioning with timestamps on critical data tables. These technological measures, along with encryption, firewalls, and secure server software and reduce risk but do not guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach.
